About The Owner
John is a kanaka maoli (native born) Hawaiian entrepreneur from the State of Hawaii. Having retired in 2003 as a Detective from the Honolulu Police Department, where he spent over 30 years serving the citizens of the City and County of Honolulu, John recognized the love for gold in the Pacific Basin - ie, Hawaii, Samoa, Philippines, Guam, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, etc. - as well as the frequent transit properties of these metals through Hawaii. Factoring in the many visitors to Hawaii from other Eastern/Middle Eastern countries - ie, Dubai, Kuwait, Afghanistan, China, Japan etc. - and also the fact that the city in which his office is located - Ewa Beach/Kapolei - is the fastest growing city in the state, John saw a unique niche - an outlet for customers to exchange their unwanted metals for money.
